Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2017 Genesis G80 and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt Class II 1-1/4" Hitch Receiver. Now there's gonna be a few great reasons to add a hitch receiver to the back of your Genesis. If you want to tow a small trailer, you can put a ball mount in there. If you wanna haul some bikes to and from the trails, that's what the owner of this vehicle plans on doing. They've got 1-1/4" bike rack that they picked up off our website and they're just wanting to go bike riding, they don't want to have to try to cram 'em in the back seat or in the trunk or if they've even tried to take 'em, they may not be able to even take 'em anywhere. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2018 Genesis G80- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT Class 2 Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2018 Genesis G80. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Genesis and it is an exposed cross tube meaning you can see a good portion of the hitch underneath the vehicle but it's tucked up pretty well to where it looks pretty clean overall and it centers up pretty nicely here on our rear diffuser. So overall a pretty good look. Now this is an 1-1/4 inch receiver tube opening so you are gonna be a little bit limited when it comes to bike racks, cargo carriers, or even a ball mount if you plan on towing a trailer. But there are still options available that you can get to load up those accessories and all of them are gonna stay in place with a 1/2 inch pin and clip. Now the pin and clip does not come with the hitch. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt Four-Pole Wiring Harness on your 2021 Genesis GV80. Now, the biggest reason why you would want to install a four-pole wiring harness on your vehicle is because you want to pull a trailer that has a four-pole on it. This wiring harness is gonna allow you to get the four-pole function safely to your vehicle, or to your trailer. It does that by using a converter box which is going to help with backfeed coming from the trailer, so it doesn't affect your vehicle lights. And then same for the vehicle going to the trailer. more
